Short Bio:

She is associate professor of Computer Engineering at the DiCES department of the University of Calabria. She held an RTD-B (Tenure-track for associate professor) position at the University of Calabria from October 2021 to September 2024. From 2015 to 2021 she was reasearcher at the ICAR institute of the National Reasearch Council of Italy (CNR). She received her Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of Calabria in 2008. During 2008 she was visiting research fellow at the Oxford University. She is a member of the editorial board of the Argument&Computation journal and of the Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence journal, and she is a member of the PC of several conferences such as IJCAI and many others. She was leader for CNR of a micro-project within the Network of Excellence Humane-AI in 2021. She is the scientific manager of the project DOOWAY since December 2023. She gave a tutorial at the ACAI doctoral school in 2021 and many talks at several conferences. She participated in several national projects and was supervisor and co-supervisor of many computer-science students. Her research interests concern computational argumentation, process mining and database management.
